Conduit Adaptor for Dado Trunking

Recently a customer enquired about a conduit adaptor for our Meridian three compartment dado trunking. Centaur didn’t have this as a standard product within its current standard product range. As a customer centric, design orientated manufacturer we wanted to provide a solution.

The customer wanted to tidily connect their drop of our 20mm conduit to their run of our Meridian dado trunking. The enquiry came in to us during the night and our team got to work first thing the following morning. Trialling different ways to overcome our customers on-site problem, by testing different sizes and connections.

Taking inspiration from the existing 16mm x 25mm mini trunking adaptor for our ACD3 dado trunking, our team were able to design and produce a sample to submit to the customer within just a few hours. The customer then approved the sample, describing it as ‘perfect’ and the order was placed, products manufactured and then despatched.

This is just one of many stories where we work with our customers to provide completely bespoke solutions to their specification. This helps build trust and strengthen relationships as well as providing on-site benefits to our customers and their installers such as reducing time on-site and enhancing their overall installation experience.
